Spiced
Tea
|
The tea can be prepared in advance and poured over the
crushed ice when ready to serve. An especially pleasant beverage for
a hot summer day.

2 1/2 cups of water
1 stick of cinnamon (about 2" long)
6 whole cloves
6 individual tea bags
1/2 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of orange juice
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup of cranberry juice
Crushed ice |
| Heat water with cinnamon and cloves until boiling. Remove
tags from the tea bags and add to boiling water. Remove from heat,
cover, and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and add sugar and fruit juices.
Chill. Serve over crushed ice. Makes 4 servings. |
