Strawberry Pie

1 1/3 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup mashed strawberries |
3 cups sliced strawberries
1 3 oz. package strawberry gelatin
9" pie shell

| Combine water, sugar, cornstarch and mashed strawberries
and cook over medium heat. Once thickened remove from burner. Add
gelatin and cool for 5 minutes. Place sliced strawberries in a prebaked
9" pie shell. Pour cooked mixture over strawberries and refrigerate
for 4 hours. Serve with whipped cream. |
